NLC India Recuitment ,Candidates applying against the vacancies notified for Mines in a particular State, should have proficiency in the specified local / regiona language i.e., Tamil (for Neyveli Mines in Tamil Nadu), Hindi (for Barsingsar Mines in Rajasthan), Odia (for Talabira Mines in Odisha). In support of local / regional language proficiency, candidates are required to produce SSLC / 10th Standard / Matriculation certificate as proof of having medium of study in local / regional language or having studied local / regional language as one of the subjects.

Selection will be based on Written Test for 100 marks.
The Question Paper will consist of two parts; Part-I with 30 questions of General Aptitude comprising of Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning and General Awareness (at Diploma level) and Part-II with 70 Questions on subject knowledge totally 100 objective type questions with multiple choice answers.
Selected candidates are liable to be initially posted to the location which the candidates have applied for. However, they will be required to work in any Unit / Area / Place situated in India and abroad under the control of NLC India Limited or in any Joint Venture / Associate / Subsidiary company of NLC India Limited, to which they may be posted.
