Applications are invited for recruitment of five(05) Project linked persons (one position for each project) purely on a temporary basis to work on the following research projects in the Advanced Computing & Microelectronics Unit (ACMU) of the Institute, Kolkata.

For Project (1) : Ph.D. (submitted/ awarded)/M.E./ M. Tech./ M.S./ M.Sc. in CSE with avery good academic record throughout; final year final semester students can also apply. Research experience in Computer Architecture/Embedded Systems/ Operating Systems particularly desirable.
For Projects (2) Ph.D. (submitted/ awarded)/ M.E./ M. Tech./ M.Sc. in CSE/ ECE with a very good academic record throughout; final year final semester students can also apply.Research experience in Wireless Networks, IoT and 5G technologies with good hardware-software skill for testbed/ outdoor experiments particularly desirable.
For Project (3) M. Tech. in Computer Science (with 1st class) and evidence of having undergone courses in Randomized Algorithms and Discrete Geometry.
For Projects (4) Masters Degree in Computer Science or related areas.Research experience in the area of Distributed Computing or related area (desirable)
For Project(5) Ph.D. (awarded/submitted)/M. E./ M. Tech./M.S. in CSE with a very good academic record throughout; final year final semester students of Master’s degree programmes can also apply. Research experience in algorithms and data structures; machine learning particularly desirable.
A consolidated pay ranging EITHER between Rs.31000/-(Rupees thirty one thousand only) to Rs.35000/-(Rupees thirty five thousand only) per month for candidates with M.E./M. Tech. degree (awarded/about to complete final examinations); OR Rs.40000/-(Rupees forty thousand only) to Rs.50000/-(Rupees fifty thousand only) per month for candidates with Ph.D. (submitted/awarded) dependingon the qualification and experience of the selected candidate
Should not exceed 35 years as on 01 May 2021. Age may be relaxed for exceptionally bright candidates with relevant research experience. Usual relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/Women/differently abled candidates will be applicable.
