* Undertake extensive field surveys and prepare water/sediment samples for scientific analysis (major, trace, REE, XRD, XRF, etc.) at National Laboratoriesto assess 1) source, location, type, nature and quantum of nutrientsand toxics from natural and anthropogenic sources, and 2) dynamics of textural parameters, magnetic susceptibility and geochemistry of bedload and suspended sediments and physico-chemistry of river water
* Evaluate spatio-temporal land use changes using remotely sensed and ground truth data
* Candidates selected to work in the project will have the option to register for Ph.D. in Department of Geography provided fulfilling the relevant criteria of CUTN.
